The Safeguarding of Adults Level 1 online course is designed for entry level staff, you would need no prior knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults to complete this course. Some topics covered in the level 1 course are what is safeguarding, why is safeguarding so important, how to recognise the signs of abuse and how to report safeguarding concerns.

The Safeguarding of Adults Level 2 online course is designed for staff who have additional responsibilities in responding to safeguarding matters. It is assumed that staff completing level 2 training, may be a more experienced member of a team who has already completed the introductory level 1 training course. The Safeguarding of Adults Level 2 online course covers all of the topics the Safeguarding of Adults Level 1 does as well as the responsibilities of different safeguarding roles how to communicate effectively and how to handle safeguarding incidents and concerns.
