Palliative and End of Life Care is treating, caring and supporting those with a life-limiting illness or nearing the end of their life.

The difference between the two is that palliative care is caring for those with a life-threatening illness and the aim is to ensure they have a good quality life, manage the pain and make them as comfortable as possible.

Whereas, end of life care is caring for those coming to the end of their life and the aim is to help the person live comfortably as possible in the time they have left. It also includes supporting them, and their friends and family.
