The signs of dyslexia can be different for each person. There are some general signs to look for in a pupil in your classroom:
– Speed of processing – slow spoken and/or written language
– Difficulty following instructions or forming answers to questions
– Forgetting words
– Poor concentration
– Memory difficulties
– Avoiding activities that involve reading
Our Dyslexia Awareness course goes through the signs and symptoms to ensure your staff know how to spot them.
