Q: What do we need from you as an account admin?

During this time prior to launch, it would be really helpful if you could review your learner list and delete any users that have left your business so they will not be moved to your new system. Please email us at LMS@careskilsacademy.co.uk if you need any guidance on how to do this.

Q: Will our course library stay the same?

Yes - you will retain access to all Careskills Academy courses and high-quality content.

Q: Why do I need to reset my password?

Your passwords need to be reset when you first log in to Atlas LMS for compliance and security purposes. Your users will be required to reset their passwords on their first log in. However, your admin users will be able to reset passwords for all users. If you need support with resetting your password, please reach out to our Support Team.

Q: What will happen to my LMS data?

All of your data will be retained on Atlas LMS, including: Users/ Permissions Course Enrolments Certificates Previous course completions

Q: Is there anything I need to do?

There is nothing you will need to do to upgrade! However, now might be a good time to complete any admin tasks and clean up your data! Remove any users that are no longer required, update any email addresses that may have changed and so on.

Q: How is the upgrade going to work?

This is all going to happen for you, you don’t need to do anything! Our team will be in contact with the contract owner and admin user(s) a few weeks before the changes are due to go live. This will allow your team to have all of the necessary information upfront, to distribute to your learners to allow them to finalise any outstanding training. These communications will explain the timeline and provide information on data security, and a link to your new Atlas LMS. Once your new login credentials have been set up, we’ll send you an email welcoming you to Atlas LMS and reminding you where you can go for help and guidance. You’ll also see in-platform guidance to help you navigate your way around.

Q: Do I have to switch to Atlas LMS now?

Your move will take place in 2025, the exact date will be confirmed via email to you very soon. From your upgrade date, you will no longer be able to access the Careskills Academy LMS to complete courses, view your results, or obtain certificates. All of this information will be available within your new Atlas LMS. Please note any training which is in-progress prior to your upgrade will be lost if not completed before your upgrade date.

Q: How long will my upgrade take?

We anticipate the upgrade should take no longer than 24 hours.

Q: When am I moving to Atlas LMS?

Your LMS upgrade to Atlas is happening in 2025. You will be contacted by email prior to this to inform you of your upgrade date. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates.
