Course Aims
This course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of how to administer, store, dispose of and process medicines safely in your role as a health and social care worker and provides learners with an understanding of medication and prescriptions.
Following the completion of this course and associated worksheets you will be required to attend an assessment and professional discussion with a Careskills Trainer/Assessor.
The TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care (RQF) is regulated by Ofqual.
This standalone qualification provides the eligibility needed for the Medication Trainer course.
