Who is the course for?

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training can be taken by individuals who are:

  • Not yet in a teaching role (pre-service)
  • In a teaching role or who have just started a teaching role (in-service)
  • Need a short qualification
  • Need a short qualification without a minimum teaching practice requirement

This course replaces the PTTLLS qualification and is suitable for those entering a health or social care workplace training role. It can also be used to further professional development for long-time trainers who do not have an accredited teaching qualification.

At Careskills Academy, we offer blended learning solutions to provide staff with the important knowledge and expertise they need to deliver care services. Our innovative approach combines online training modules covering essential topics with practical activities overseen by an experienced trainer designed for maximum hands-on experience and confidence-building when dealing with vulnerable individuals.

Strategically planned to maximise learning potential, our two-week training program allows students to enrol in their online courses and complete the Level 3 qualification with downloadable workbooks. Guided learning is expected to be 12 hours, depending on the student’s skillset.
