We are delighted to announce the release of the new revised GDPR courses.
The UK left the EU on 31st January 2020 and the rules governing the new relationship between the EU and UK took effect on 1st January 2021.
The UK is no longer regulated by the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Instead the UK now has its own version known as the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK-GDPR).
Our new revised courses now reflect the latest changes and each course has been aimed at specific members of staff:
- GDPR Stage 1 – aimed at care workers and all other staff, providing 30mins of guided learning
- GDPR Stage 2 – aimed at senior members of staff, Care Managers and appointed Data Protection Officers (DPOs) in your organisation, or anyone that is responsible for managing data and reporting breaches, providing 45mins of guided learning
We do recommend that those completing GDPR stage 2 also complete GDPR Stage 1 beforehand.
Both courses also have downloadable fact sheets, for learners to refer to, assisting them with their knowledge and understanding.
Fact sheets also contain useful links, where appropriate, that provide further information on the course subject.
