Who is responsible to safeguard children in school?

Anyone who works in an educational setting has a duty to the children who attend to protect their well-being. Governors, heads of schools, Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), teachers, teaching assistants, kitchen staff, and anybody else who works with children are all affected.
