Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) is a condition affecting how the brain processes information received through the senses. Someone with SPD often has difficulty with organisation and interpretation, whilst they can be overly sensitive (hypersensitive) or under-sensitive (hyposensitive) to sensory information.

This Sensory Impairment course teaches care professionals, including occupational therapists, how to help a child with Sensory Processing Disorder by managing their sensitivities and helping to improve their daily lives through therapy and other strategies.
