Our Infection Control Awareness course teaches learners the basics about what infection is, from the chain of infection and its effects to the types of germs and infections. It also covers infection control measures, including PPE, and the role of CQC in infection prevention and control.
Our Advanced Infection Control course further develops the learner’s knowledge of infection prevention and control to a management level, teaching about what action to take in the event of an infection outbreak and how to report it to the relevant authorities. Learners will also be taught about infection risk management measures such as asepsis and aseptic technique.
